A walk through the center of ancient Rome to understand the Colosseum in its historical context. Built between 70 and 80 AD by the Flavian dynasty, the amphitheater rose on the site of Nero’s Domus Aurea, marking a political and symbolic shift.

With a capacity of up to 80,000 spectators, the Colosseum is one of the greatest examples of Roman engineering and has stood for nearly two thousand years. Outside stands the Arch of Constantine. The route continues to the Roman Forum, the center of public life in ancient Rome, now an archaeological area with well-preserved remains. The tour ends with free time to explore the area.
